Speaking with Confidence – Being Your Best You

This introductory workshop is tailor-made for the terrified.
Ideal for the inexperienced or those aspiring to take on leadership positions in industry associations or similar, this workshop is all about building confidence. Participants will leave standing slightly taller, equipped with strategies and tools to practise in the real world. The workshop does not include any PowerPoint training or intensive one-on-one coaching.

Duration: One day, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Participants: 12- 24

The Art of Landing Your Message

This is Esther’s signature workshop, helping presenters take the leap from good to great.

It’s designed for anyone required to convey complex ideas to a non-technical audience. The workshop covers both what to say and how to say it. By the end, participants will have a firm grasp on how to distil a message into something concise and palatable, and how to deliver it for maximum impact. They’ll also be much better friends with PowerPoint, wielding it in ways that enhance and enrich their presentations.

Duration: One day.
(or 1.5 days for 8-12 people).
Participants: Maximum 8 (ideally).

Presentation Masterclass

This one is for those who have done some introductory training and want to hone their skills.

Participants return for further coaching and this time submit to being captured on camera – because seeing yourself in action is the best way to learn. There’s a follow-up presentation in front of a real audience. It’s a chance to gather colleagues, clients or funding partners and test out the group’s presentation skills after a thorough tune-up.

Duration: One day, 8.30 – 4.30pm
Participants: Maximum 8

Communications Keynote

A fun, informative presentation about how to speak with more influence.

This light-hearted but fact-filled talk works well as a post-lunch slot at a conference, or in cases where the participants stretch beyond ‘small group’. Peppered with useful tips, it acts as a snack-sized taster of the signature one-day course.

Duration: 30 – 40 minutes
Participants: Unlimited

Note: Esther’s coaching workshops are finely tailored for each group, and no two are quite the same. If you’re dealing with time constraints or odd numbers, get in touch. There may be a work-around.

Costs

Workshops conducted in either Perth or Albany: $4000 plus GST per day for the group. Elsewhere: $6000 plus GST per day for the group.

Esther’s home base is Albany, on Western Australia’s south coast. She’s happy to travel. Her travel and accommodation costs are additional to the training.

Logistics

Workshops are delivered to small groups, coordinated by the business or team leader that books the training. The organising party secures a venue (just make sure it has a good screen) and arranges catering. Participants should bring a fully charged laptop with charging cord.

Where relevant, Esther is happy to meet informally with participants on the evening prior to training. This presents an opportunity to further tailor her content.

Preparation

For workshops that include PowerPoint, participants should prepare a ‘workshop sample’ PowerPoint. Ideally it’s something they’ve previously presented, or are soon to present. Esther will offer detailed feedback and suggest improvements. PowerPoints should be sent to Esther at least one week prior to training.
